Podiums for Fisher and Bull

The WPR team headed north on May 31st 2014 for a couple of Formula Ford races on Oulton Park's International circuit.

Regular Drivers, Josh Fisher (Reynard 89FF) and Calum McHale (Mygale SJ01) were joined by Olly Bull having an occasional outing in his Swift SC82.

Josh sat out the first race (for all classes,) as he was concentrating on the Pre '90 race later on, so it was left to Olly who qualified 7th and Calum 11th to take part. Olly had a good race to finish 7th and second in Class B taking fastest Class lap along the way. Calum, who is enjoying his time in the car and getting quicker with every outing, improved to finish 10th.

In the Pre '90 race Josh qualified fourth but felt his engine was down on power compared with his rivals. In the circumstances third overall and second in Class C turned out to be as good a race result as could be expected. Hopes are high that with his engine problems resolved by the next race his title challenge can get back on track.

Calum got into the Pre'90 race as an invited reserve driver and went well, further improving his lap time by another quarter of a second over his first race and coming home in 15th place.
