A trio of third places

Following on from the Bank Holiday race meeting only a couple of weeks earlier entries were a little down for this double header meeting and even the WPR sqaud was a little smaller than usual.

Hopwever, thirds were the order of the day for Guy Parr (Fiesta) in the Saloon race after qualifying second in class, Guy Parr (Nemesis) again and third overall in the GT race and Steve Bracegirdle (Van Diemen RF98) in the Formula Ford race. Ray Smith (Swift SC93) was also out in the Formula Ford race and, after qualifying well, came home 17th in what turned out to be a damp race.
