A second and a fourth for Ben Mitchell at Combe
The Countdown event at Castle Combe on August 28th was a low key affair for Wayne Poole Racing with only Ben Mitchell's Classic Auction Review
backed Van Diemen
JL16 entered for the two Formula Ford races.
Although only qualifying 5th and 7th, Ben's race pace was good and he converted these starting positions into encouraging second and fourth place finishes.
Graham Cox was also out for the team in the pair of Saloon Car races with his Renault Clio 2000 and managed two third place finishes in Class B.
