Wins for Colborn and a podium for Mitchell
At the Castle Combe Finals meeting on September 18th the WPR team brought along the Class A and C Van Diemens for Ben Mitchell and James Colborn for the pair of Formula Ford championship races.
Ben qualified 4th for both races in the Richard Hudson-Evans owned and Classic Auction Review backed Van Diemen RF99, while James was the fastest Class C runner in 13th and 12th places.
In Race 1 Ben held third for 9 laps before dropping a place to finish fourth while going one better in Race 2, holding third from start to finish. James won Class C in both races with a pair of fastest laps.
