Champion Fisher wins again and Colborn takes class win
Although already confirmed as 2019 Castle Combe Formula Ford champion, Josh Fisher too the Richard Hudson-Evans' Classic Auction Review sponsored Van Diemen JL14 to a flag to flag victory at the final championship round of the season. Having qualified just behind his brother, Felix, a good start saw Josh take a lead he wasn't about to relinquish. At the end of the race he finished a couple of tenths ahead and, although a 5 second time penalty was applied for exceeding track limits it was applied to the second place man too so the result stood.
James Colborn (Van Diemen RF89) had to start at the back of the field as he wasn't credited with a practice time due to transponder problems and a loose exhaust after a couple of laps. However, a good start, and a retirement ahead of him saw the former Saloon Car racer, take his first single seater Class win.
