Good showings from Andrew Higginbottom and Ray Smith

At Donington on April 21st Andrew qualified well in 12 place (in a 24 car field) in the WPR Van Diemen RF88. The first of two races was red flagged after four laps but on the restart Andrew was able to maintain an excellent 7th place to the finish. In Race 2 Andrew went one better to score a fine 6th place.
Anfrew continued his good form at Silverstone on June 24th qualifying 6th and finishing 5th.
The
PR team of Formula Fords were three strong at Oulton Park on June 16
with Ray Smith (RF88) qualifying in an excellent 6th in a 25 car field
followed by Wayne Poole (RF88) in 15th and Steve Bracegirdle in 22nd. In
another messy, red flagged race Ray managed to finish eighth (for 3rd
and a podium in Class C), closely followed by Wayne a few tenths behind
