At a dark, cold and damp Silverstone for the 2008 running of the Walter Hayes Trophy Wayne Poole Racing took three out of the top six places in a hotly contested final to round off the team's most successful appearance yet at this blue riband event. Josh Fisher (Mygale SJ03) finished a close second to winne Conor Daly while last minute substitute Peter Dempsey (Van Diemen RF89) took fourth and Felix Fisher (Swift SC92) finished sixth.
