A large May Bank Holiday crowd at Castle Combe saw Wayne Poole Racing pull off and unprecedented triple victory in the Melton Concrete Products FF1600 Championship race.
The team won all three classes with Josh Fisher (centre in photo) taking overall victory and Class A in the team Mygale SJ03, brother Felix Fisher (right) third overall and winning Class B in his Swift SC92 and Oliver Bull (left), in his first ever single seater race, coming out on top in Class C and a very creditable 11th overall in one of the teams Van Diemen RF89s.
Of the other team drivers, Tom Margetson had a successful first outing, finishing fourth in Class C in his newly completed Reynard FF89 while Darren Houldcroft had a steady run until the final lap when he pulled off with overheating.
