Marley Fisher (aged 6 years) son of WPR lead driver, Josh Fisher made his race debut on September 8th at the Llandow Karting Centre in the Bambino class.

Since his Birthday, back in April, Marley has been testing at the Mansell Raceway (Dunkeswell) and Llandow. So when Llandow allowed the Bambino class (6 to 8 year olds) to run in their monthly championship for the first time, Mum and Dad decided to enter him to get some expeience.

At this age they run a time trial format so each heat is like qualifying and points awarded for each result. So when Marley ended the weekend up on the podium for 3rd place in his first event (and a heat win) this far exceeded his parent's expectations.

Josh raced karts from 9-16 and said "Iam giving him as much help as possible but it is still a steep learning curve for me. It’s amazing how 6year olds can do what they do!"
